A partnership, made of 23 different partners/associates over 5 countries, directly connected 8 universities with 5 public institutions and 10 private subjects, enterprises and consortia of enterprises. This transnational association aimed to promote and facilitate the contact among educational and business galaxies, creating “new channels and methods of communication”, in order to increase the fundamental interaction between research, education and innovation, as key driver of a knowledge-based society.
What has been done during the Project lifespan in order to achieve its main goal/s?
a. Setting up of Industry cooperation patterns and of ICT platform for graduates, which includes: Comparison and classification of HE degrees and graduates; Analysis and identification of companies innovation needs; Set up of web based Graduates Database; Set up of the Virtual Engine; Training Activity and local seminars.
b. Setting up of ICT platform for university R&D services, which includes: Comparison and classification of Universities R&D services; Set up of web based University R&D DBs; Training on the ICT platform; Definition of recommendations and guidelines.
c. Exploiting ICT platforms to foster technological knowledge, including: Call for Graduates and Recruitment; Call for Enterprises and Technological Needs; Call for University and R&D capacities.
d. Transforming Knowledge in Innovation and Evaluation, including: An eco-sustainability design; Virtual Machining; Light materials for tool machines; Increasing efficiency of wood machining; Traceability and monitoring of tools.
Which are the Project Main Results/Impact?
Exporting the AlmaLaurea model for storing information of graduates to the West Balkan countries; merging Italian and WB previous experiences in industrial research & transfer of technology by development of an Integrated Platform for classification of R&D services; implementation of technological pilot projects of industrial interest.
ACTIONS: 22 project pilots, 4 technology demonstrators, 3 ICT platforms, 10 new project proposals submitted
OUTCOMES: More than 90 main printed deliverables (at 31/07/2016) including 10 books, 62 scientific articles, 16 technical reports about technology state of arts, benchmarking, assessment, advancements, case studies.
DIFFUSION: n. 173 events (374 days) arranged or participated, 74% at an international level, 30% for promotion & diffusion (including 8 TV interviews), 15% educational, 14% for integration with stakeholders, 11% for transfer of technology.
